INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

CONFERENCE HALL

The academic staff college has a state of art class room with a capacity to accommodate 40 persons, equipped with all necessary equipment and aids.

COMPUTER LAB
A fully equipped computer lab which is furnished with a current and hi-tech operating system. A comfortable ambiance is provided for the the trainees.
The lab is equipped with:

• 25 nos. P4 PCs with D CPU 2.80 GHz processor, 160 GB HDD. 512 RAM 15’’colour LCD Monitors.

• A current and hi-tech Operating System.

• The facility is backed by 100% power supply.

• 24 hours internet (broad-band) facility.

LIBRARY
It is an integral part of the ASC vision to build a rich library which will make the ASC a hub of academic activity. The Library is being furnished with a wide range of books, journals, reports, newspapers and periodicals.  We are trying to develop a Library that can be used by our trainees, academicians, intellectuals and researchers from within and outside our University.

Donor Programme: As part of our innovative initiatives we have invited donations of books from all book lovers, and we have already received many such donations. There is a separate section in the library for the donated books and the donors find a place in our special Scroll of Donors which is on display.

HERITAGE HOSTEL
The Academic Staff College provides residential facilities for the trainees during their stay. Accommodation is available in dormitories. The hostel tries to give the trainees a homely comfort zone. The Heritage Hostel can accommodate about 32 participants at a time. Our cosy dormitories are furnished with care, and very well maintained. Room heating is provided when needed, and an ample supply of quilts, blankets and linen is always at hand. Laundering services to participants are provided on payment. The hostel is well furnished and equipped to cater to the requirements of participants.

 

DINING HALL

The Dining Hall, furnished totally with old restored furniture, is a homely room where our participants swarm to have the simple, yet nutritious meals prepared with great care and hygiene. 

DR. RADHA KRISHNAN HALL

We are using the Dr. Radha Krishnan Hall for hosting seminars and cultural activities. The Dr. Radha Krishnan Hall , is being converted into a state of art Conference Hall.

SUMMER HOUSE RETREAT

The charming Summer House of the Hermitage has been turn into a small secular meditation and prayer room. Sunny and serene, it has the ideal ambience for a quiet retreat for our participants.
